The Weinstein JCC exists to strengthen Jewish identity and continuity by enriching personal, cultural, social and physical development, by fostering leadership, and by promoting the welfare of the Jewish community and the community as a whole.

The Weinstein JCC offers cultural, educational, social and recreational programming for the entire community. The Dora L. Lewis Family and Child Development Center offers early educational, enrichment and day care programs for preschool and elementary school children.

The Sports & Fitness Department offers acquatic, sports, dance, exercise and recreational programming for members of every age.

The Adult Cultural Arts Department brings programming such as the JCC Forum, the Undiscovered Artists Exhibit, and the annual Jewish Book Fair to the community. There are special groups for seniors including the 5400 Men's Club, the Women's Room and the Grand Group.

The JCC is homebase for the Elmer Toth Food Co-Op, founded more than a decade ago. The Co-Op provides low cost, quality food to seniors and others in the community.

The JCC is home to the Richmond Jewish Student Association which provides a formal liaison between the student population, campus communities and the organized Jewish community and its programs.

The local B'nai B'rith Youth Organizations meet at the center and the BBYO Regional Office is located there.

Membership in the JCC is open to everyone in the community regardless of age, race, color, creed, national origin, gender, disability, or religious preference.
